Just a reminder to everyone that we will be meeting this weekend. Same time and same place. If anyone want to get together earlier, that will be no problem.

This is the third consecutive week hopefuly. C-GRYK i know is off on special assignment, taking pictures for our "NEW" website that is under construction. As for the rest, I hope to see each and everyone of you.

So that is Threshold Aviation 2pm Sunday. Again if you need directions, please let me know gfeggi@rogers.com

Pray for good weather, NO WIND....and we will see you then....

Grant

Well, looks like tomorrow I might be flying! But I know I will wake up and the "partly" sunny part of the day would have passed already, and all I get are clouds, and lots of precipitation, and poor visibility!!! WOO HOO!!! YAY TO FLYING IN CANADA!

Anyways, do we have a consensus as to who will be showing up on Sunday? I still haven't made up my mind. I'll probably only know on Saturday  Smile

I was on TV last week. Outdoor Life Network, talking about sailing.

You didn't show the dude at Discovery Channel a pic of yourself did you Grant? That'll scare away any TV crew.

Grant,

Did you get the phone numbers I sent you for the fellow at Discovery Channel?
I sent them to your rogers e-mail. Let me know, if need be I'll send them again. I spoke with him on Thursday and mentioned your group. I know he was originally planning on meeting with me next weekend, this weekend may have been to short a notice??

Cheers.

Thank you very much for the tip!!

Oh, Neil, I sent him your picture instead of mine.....?? Maybe that is why there is no response!!

Grant

Yyz717 What program on Outdoor Life?

The program is called 'Tanlines', a show about Canadian beaches. Last week the show focused on the Toronto Island beaches & environs. I do alot of sailboat racing and the producers filmed at my sailing club last summer (we launch from a beach). The program repeats frequently.

If you catch the TO Island show, I'm the handsome ~30's guy talking about start-line strategies for light-wind racing!

 Big thumbs up

Neil

Hey Neil.....don't worry, i will recognize that mug if I see it....I will have a look on the channel for a happy sailor....

Do you see a lot of traffic out on the island airport and as well, airlines turing onto final for YYZ?

Yes, my condo at harbourfront faces west so I see the YYZ traffic in the distance. YTZ is boring.....just Air Ontario Dash 8's. The occasional Trans Capital Dash 7.

My parents house in Bramalea (where I grew up) is the perfect house for spotting. Below and off-centre from 15/33. I went thru major spotting withdrawal when I moved downtown years and years ago! But hey, there are other pursuits downtown!

Tomorrow's up in the air for me Grant. Marathon training run tomorrow morning. I'm often sore & in a foul mood after. We'll see!

Ciao
Neil
