I thought it was unveiled months ago... It's been on the Air Holland website (and several posts by Air Orange here) for the last 5-6 months.

Yes indeed, but we did just a little change about the belly colour. We call that "fine tuning". They grey suits much better with the Dutch flag and the Royal orange banner; it gives a more "military"-look?

Wrong, Thijs. I have to admit the change is minor but it is still a change comparing with the "old" images which were on Lila's site for ages...

KL713, good luck with your job at Air holland!

Whoops! Guess I missed that bit. I think the livery is attractive and I look forward to seeing it applied to the actual aircraft.

Air Orange;
I'm curious to know why would Air Holland want to have a more "military look" to their aircraft?

First, let me say that I think the overall design of the new livery is very nice. However, I must tell you that while I was viewing photos of the new design my wife came into the room and peered over my shoulder and started laughing. She caught her breath and then asked me, "what is Air HO Land? Is that a new airline for hookers?" I had to laugh with her as I immediately saw what she meant. When viewed at a distance, the first letter "L" in the word Holland, being painted orange as opposed to a matching blue, can virtually disappear resulting in the appearance of two words "ho" and "land". I wonder if anyone else experienced this. It's quite funny, but probably not to those marketing this new design.

Respectfully,
AAgent

LOL AAgent nice one!
I can see Air Orange fuming over that comment  Big thumbs up

I really, really love this livery, it is very attractive and quite original but those dashes on the nose and cowls, are old and used concepts by landor. This is only my opinion but i believe you should fit the orange dash over the cockpit windows and that lovely underbody pattern should be continued on the engines but in the orange. But apart from that i just think its beautiful.

AWspicious: Grey looks more serious and the airline hopes to attract also head of states, mp's and other vips for transport.

AAgent; Air holland mostly carries Dutch people, they are smart and understand the new logo. The current (soon old) logo is really out. By the way the 2 L's and the white space in between symbolize the ancient Dutch flag orange-white-blue

the orange lines on the engine too bmi-ish
the orange on the nose of the aircraft-reminds me of 70s.

Tail is very attractive.

What's wrong with a slight retro-look, Cyprus-Turkish?

I like it a lot, far better then most of the other liveries Air Orange put forward here  Smile/happy/getting dizzy (and I guess the airlines agree).
