I wouldn't be surprised that within the next few years if Ariana rapidly expands and renews its fleet now that it is possible to lease and purchase modern aircraft! Maybee even international routes with widebodys could develop?

Da man, nice thought, and they did fly a couple of DC10s in the 80s, but Afganistan is just a load of warloads fighting each other and robbing civilians. The peacekeepers (there's so few of them) can't even control Kabul, let alone anywhere else. And the new "interim" PM's authority only extends to the walls of the Prime Ministerial residence.
I wish Afganistan all the best but the international community has to do a lot more to help it get back off their knees. I think Ariana will be restricted to flying a few 727s with diplomats journalists and arms dealers aboard, for quite a few years yet. Imagine MEA at the height of the Lebanese war.
