I am not surprised at all. Tampa is a fairly strong business market with strong ties to Britain and this is thier only non-stop service to Europe for a TOP 20 market. It might not be very high-yielding, but I am sure this route makes money.

Trust me Condor is very much here in TPA still. They just moved the Condor and Cayman Airways ticket counter to the old TWA ticket counter area which is across from us.
Those BA flights seem to always be full too. My mother-in law flys those flights very frequently between TPA and LGW and everytime she tells me how she couldnt find an empty seat! Also when we flew it non-rev going to LGW coach was full so they bumped us to 1st class and on the return they said it was overbooked but managed to get us on in coach. That flight home I didnt see an empty seat either while walking around the aircraft.

Hi CP long time no see. BA 2xclass to TPA KIN ANU for the start of the summer. The AML aircraft will be used on these routes and operated by BA crews (at last). They are to be reconfigured quickly though to take them to proper BA standard. ie: 3x3x3 in WT. Dont know if WT+ is to be added? Anybody know?
