What is your favorite aircraft you have never travled on. My choice would have to be "The Concorde".
Preferably a British Airways Concorde. I would like to fly from LHR to JFK and get there befor I left.
My favorite plane I have been a passenger on is a L1011-500 TWA just befor they retired them. After getting of an MD80 it seemed huge.

The aircraft I like the most that I've never been on would be the Boeing 777. I love it even though I've never been on it. I also like the A340, but I like the 777 more. The favorite aircraft I have been on though was a Cathay Pacific A330. It was brand new too!!!

Been on 40 types.... I long the most for aircraft which are quite impossible to catch (as a farepaying passenger), like the DC-8, the VC-10 or the Caravelle (Gabon Express is reported to start scheduled services with two ex French Air Force Caravelles. Does anyone know anything about that?).
But I feel very lucky I 'had' many other oldies, like the 707 and 720 of MEA, a Viscount and a Reeve Electra.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

What I would do to have been able to fly on a Boeing 314 flying boat, A Martin Flying boat clipper, A super Connie, a YS-12, a L188,

But mostly to have been able to ride on a B-314 would have been the height of life. Imagine....

Hi MEA-707

re Gabon Express. A friend who is doing consultancy for Air Gabon confirmed that they still operate two Caravelles (he saw one last month in Libreville) . On Domestic routes , to Franceville (Sp.?)

I am also dying to fly with them! if you get more info i would appreciate if you let me know and of course vice versa!

Any Airbus A330. Beautiful, graceful bird.
After that it would have to be the Triple 7.

I'd love a chance to fly as a passenger on a 717, MD-11, L-1011, and the 328JET. I'd love to fly a Lancair IVP (pressurised, high-performance kitplane), F-14D, Cirrus SR20, Learjet 45 (love the cockpit), and the Bombardier Global Express (not only is this thing one of the best looking aircraft flying, it has what's possibly the most advanced cockpit flying).

As far as planes I'd like to fly in...some are impossible dreams...like the Briston Brabazon and Vickers VC-10, as well as the Tupolev TU144 Charger. The Concorde and the Ilyushin IL96-300 are more realistic.

Mine would have the be the 747! Either -200 or -400 series. I wish I could get on one.

25 Clipperhawaii : BOAC VC-10. Around the world flight with their typical British arrogance. My first choice. Second, S-42, with Capt. Musick at the controls. ClipperH
26 Darrell : 1. The Concorde 2. SE 210 Caravelle 3. Vickers VC-10 4. Bac 111 5. Ilyushin IL-86 6. Fokker F-27 7. Boeing 777 8. Ford Tri-motor 9. Lockheed Electra
27 Ramey : Favorite plane I've never been on: 1. British Airways Concorde 2. Air Force One (747) 3. Pan-Am 747-100 and SP 4. 777 (any variant, any carrier) 5. A3
28 Amir : EK 777-300 Gabon Express Super-Carabelle :-)) Amir
29 Rjnut : does anyone remember the huge Tu-114 four engine turboprop from the 1950's(USSR) with two contra-rotating props on each engine..now that to me would h
30 Starship : I guess one regret is that I never got to fly on a VC10. I have seen them in the colours of BOAC back in the early seventies at Johannesburg Internati
31 Kottan : Hi there The Lokkheed Constellation! Wow that must be a hell of a ride. Also as acvitale mentioned a Boeing 314. Or AN225 (on the jumpseat!). Or a Suk
32 Kcrp : Gotta fly on a 747-400 before I go! Preferably first class.
33 Peter : The 747-400
34 Carioca Canuck : The Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird". I'd pay $20,000 cash right now for a 60 minute flight at mach 3+ at FL90+.......if they where selling flights that is.
35 Boeing747-400 : My favorite plane that I have been on was a UAL 747-200 about a week ago. It was my first 747 flight! I really want to fly on a UAL 747-400 though. Rg
36 Jabpilot : B1-B, during a high-speed training mission!
37 Ilyushin96M : Here's my list: Would be nice, but not likely: Convair CV880 Convair CV990 Tupolev TU114 Tupolev TU104 Vickers VC-10 Lockheed L1049 Constellation Lock
38 Ben88 : DC-3 would be a dream come true.
39 Post contains links and images Fanofjets : Like Activale, I would love to fly in a propliner - those Stratocruisers and Super Connies were so elebant and luxurious. Any propliner would be welco
40 Tupolev154B2 : Planes I would like to fly on: 1. A340 2. A330 3. B777 4. B767 5. Concorde
