Pictures taken by VG Airlines' employees at Brussels on March 14, 2002. Especially the third link shows the remarkable fuselage lines:

Not too bad of a livery, especially in these days of white on white ad nausum. It looks in a way similar to the old CityBird livery.

It's very nice to see Air Orange's livery 'for real' now, after following the designs for the last months.

Looks great !

Good Job Norbert.

It looks great.

I hope our 777 will look as nice in real as your livery for VG Airlines.

Maybe we will join the first flight for VG airlines to the USA

Very nice!

Btw, did you also design the interior's decoration, or just the paint scheme?

Hmmm...it appears to me as if the BRU fire dept. didn't welcome the first VG Airlines aircraft. Is this due to the fact that the airline still hasn't received its AOC? I read today that VG Airlines expects to receive the AOC within the next three weeks.

Air Orange,

I very much like the design but don't you think it's a bit arrogant on your part to say " the Remarkable lines"? Not very humble in my opinion.

VG Airlines did not give rumour around the arrival of it's first aircraft as they still do not have an AOC. As soon they receive it they will organize a ribbon cutting ceremony at Brussels airport where the subcontrators, investors, ministers, press etc. will be invited.

Yes, the interior is the same as that one of Sabena. Only the colours have changed.

With 'the colours haven't changed', I mean the outside colours of course. Not the interior (I didn't say this clear).

It is already discussed here:

Sorry, Air Orange. This not completely correct.

VG Air gave rumour before the arrival of the first aircraft. They invited the press (radio, tv, newspapers) and the cabin attendants were all there in their uniforms. There was a kind of ceremony with champagne and drinks were offered. So, more than 200 people were invited...

Hi AirOrange!

I sincerely want to salute you for the great work you did in VG Airlines, when we look to so much "white" in the airlines it's good to see a nice "fresh air" in this business. I'm also very positive that from now on you can have many door openning for you future, grab them and take those "white" planes out of the sky!!!
I like very much the belgium flag in the winglets, if by any chance someone can't recognise the airline or can't identify the airline by the registration at least if they look to the winglets and find that the airline is from Belgium, that's a good point!
regards

Let's hope the success will continue although I have to admit that there are some customers who required me to do an almost white livery. I'll keep trying to the utmost to change their minds. Quite colourful liveries to be expected are Mama-Air and Crystal Airways though it will take a while before they get airborne.

My very next design which will take off (to be expected in April 2002) will be a B757-200 of Air holland; white roof, grey wavy belly, orange touches on nose and engine cowls and the Dutch red-white-blue and orange banner on tailfin. Air holland will fly this summer 3 x B752's, 1 x B763 and 1 x B733; the new logo and livery design will be implemented on all those aircraft before Summer 2002.
