I would assume that this airline will be operating 727-200s. Any idea what the name will be? Hopefully Pan Am "Carribean" or something with Pan Am in it.

Just 'Pan Am' would be fine with me......! That name fits into the skies over the Caribbean like a foot into a well worn tennis shoe. Perfectly!
While it's exciting that the airline is exploring a bold new tact, I hope it isn't because they've decided they've failed abysmally at the first effort.

The name is ok, but the routes are even more cool - these routes have got a real chill factor. I wish I worked at this airline. Central America and the Caribbean must be among the grooviest spots on Earth (been there) to work for an airline.

I have been to Central America and the Caribbean, but not yet to Hispaniola. I was planning to go there in 1999 and to go to Port-au-Prince too, but ended up going to somewhere else.
Who needs a visa to come to the Domenican Republic? Is there a website where I can check this?
Thanks,

I've heard alot about this and from many newspaper about Pan Am's plan. But why haven't they posted the news on their website yet? why havent they updated their website? Since according to orlando Setinel, the first new service will be starting as soon as by the end of April to Freeport, Bahamas from Orlando/Sanford. Also the Boston-Maine Airways Clipper Connection new inter-florida will begin at the same time too but they have not mention any of these things at their website.
