Can someone please help me in connection to a new sweedish start up carrier called Transair Sweeden AB.They are going to operate with 757 a/c but i have no idea as to where they will be operating from and the routes that they have planned. Will they come to the UK at all.
hope you can help
Has there been any update as to when Transjet will rtn to the Uk and if so...when.
Can anyone tell me if the above (Transair/Transjet) will be recruiting for cabin crew in the near future.

Transair was running some ads in Flight International. They will operate 4 B757's for MyTravel - 3 from UK (GLA+??) and one from ARN. All aircraft are ex-Air2000. I remember seeing a fax number in a thread on pprune.
Transjet seems to be a bit more irregular bunch, specializing on ad-hoc, hadj etc .. The owner, Thomas Johansson (TJ, geddit?), has a rather bad track record (anyone remember Air Ops?), so don't expect them to hang around forever.

I heard all about Air Ops...very bad for delays etc.
Last year Transjet seemed to be ok from what i gather, but with all these kind of carriers....you never know what is gonna happen next.
I must admit...within 2years he has gone from 2xMD83 to 6 along with 3x747-200's. It is very quick expansion and i just hope that they have fun and do well.
Did Air ops cease operating because the finacial backers (the banks etc) pulled out and left them with no funding.
Who is funding Transjet i wonder !!!
They seem to have the work at the moment and it seems strange to me that all these big charter companies are cutting back and downsizing...yet, these people are expanding and making good use of it.
They must be doing something right to be able to do what they do.
