Hi all,

Only a small question, what is the actual fleet plan for Aeroflot?

Do they plan to take more IL-96-300? Will they take some A32X? Or something else?

Thanks for all your replies

Regards,

Benjamin

I dont think that Il96s will come right away. Aeroflot has been mentioning A320s for quite some time now. I wonder if they will ever get any.

i think they should standardise on the YAK-40, and conquer the world!!!

joking appart, i would really like to see aeroflot do well, they have a great potential. Do u think we can ever expect SU with the massive beast-the A380??? their reputation is not the best out there, even thoughi would not think twice before flying with them, but do u think they would be able to fill an A380 on some of their routes? Have they ever considered the 744? or how about the A340?
anyway they are probably doing just fine with their 777's, 767's, A310's and 737's for their international routes.
I presonally love russian planes, and would love to fly someday (soon) on an IL-96/86, TU-204 (which i dont think they operate  Sad) and the TU-154. i have flown on an IL-62 and i loved everything about it, it got me from AvB i mean to  Smile.

Ammunition

On some of Aeroflots domestic flights like Moscow-Sochi, things can get pretty crowded. Currently they use Il86s on crowded flights. Im sure they could fill an A380, but I dont think its going to happen.

just out of interest- how many pax can an IL-96 or 86 hold in a 1 clas config.???
i would think it would be close to the max of a 747 in regular 3 class config..... about 400 or so approx?
can anyone help>?

I´ve heard that they will get RJs in a few years, not clear who will get the order, as far as I know it will not necessarily be an indegious manufacturer.

Hmm... That sounds interesting. Is it to replace the Tu134s?

wow- not as many as i expected. maybe they dont need anything bigger than what they have- maybe they heavilly overbook the flights- hence the 'overcrowdedness' (<<<<<<<<<<<<< is that a word) on the routes

I´m not 100% sure, what I´ve heard is that they consider the whole 70-110-seat bandwidth which essentially leaves a number of options.

I hope the will buy the Tu-204, -334 and the Il-96-300 and -400 as a replacement for the Boeings and Airbuses.
