I was wondering where the current VS 747-400s are located? I know that they are based in LHR and LGW, but I am looking to see which birds are at which base. Also, does anyone happen to know when VS-17/18 will return to LGW and 747 equipment?

Hi CX747

The LGW based a/c are the ex-Alitalia ordered ones, ie G-VROM, G-VROS, G-VROY, G-VGAL, G-VLIP. The others are all LHR based.

No current plans for the VS17/18 to revert to LGW but there may be eqpt changes in the summer.
