I just got a question about Frankfurt Airport.
How is it to spott airplanes from the terminal, now that they have rebuildt it?
I was there 2 years ago, and then it was very good.

I havn't been there myself for quite some time, but I am told that it ranks amongst the top (10?) sites in the World.

Frankfurt Airport seems to cater in a big way for the visitor. They offer at least five different tours: A mini tour lasting 45 mins, a maxi tour lasting 90 mins, a jumbo tour lasting 2.5 hours, a special tour and an individual tour lasting 45 mins.

There are two galleries one in Terminal 1 on the mezzanine floor in Departures Hall B and one in Terminal 2 in the central area on Level 3.

There are also two terraces, one in Terminal 1 and one in Terminal 2, where aircraft movements can be observed.

Frankfurt airport has 1100 aircraft take-offs and landings a day and handles 150 000 passengers daily.
