On some of the last few posts I have read that people are saying that TWA is interested in the 757-300. If so I think that is great. It also seems like a good replacement for the 767-200's that are slowly dissappearing from TWA. I flew on a TWA 757 just yesterday and they are awesome. I love that airline and cant wait to see whats in store for them next. maybe the 757-300? thanks a lot.

Do you know if the 753 is in one isle form or two isle form.

The 757-300 is single isle.
From what I have heard the 757-300 would be used on routes from STL/JFK to San Juan and high capacity inter US routes like STL-SFO/LAX or even STL-JFK. The 757-300 would be used to increase capacity while keeping costs similar to the 757-200s already operated by TWA.

That aircraft would look great in TW colors and would provide seat-mile costs on JFK-SJU/MIA/FLL/SDQ/LAX/STL, STL-LAX, STL-CUN that would truly be second to none. I think an order is highly likely, with a lessor(poss. ILFC) being involved.

I never heard of TWA vuying 757300s. I know they want the A318, the 717, but the 757-300, can someone give me proof that they are actually considering it???

While it is not a confirmed order. TWA states that they are interested in the 757-300 in a recent press release where they announced the cancellation of the A330 order. They have also just inked a tenative deal to replace two more 767-200's with 767-300er's. The 767-300er's are not brand new but rather about 3 years old and would be D checked overhauled and put into service by August and October respectively. Expect to hear a formal announcement and signing within the net 30 days.
