Give Me NW And LH In 60s Story

Recently my senior friend gave me old photos of B707 combi of Northwest airlines and
B720 of Lufthansa around in 1965 at Tokyo International Airport. Could you anyone there who lived that era gives me any kind of short story or episodes about these airlines at that time to expand my imagination.
It is interesting to me that Northwest could serve by B707 combi which can carry much less amount of cargos and numbers of passangers than Today.
The ticket must be soo much more expensive...
