How does a tow truck manage to pierce a hole in a plane? Aren't aircraft fuselages suppose to be much tougher than that?

BA have found in the past that 3rd party maint. work has rarely been profitable, (partly that has been due to purchasing muppets signing contracts with airlines that had trouble paying), and often a drain on resources.
But Royal Brunei was too good a contract to turn down, especially as late last year we had some spare capacity due to post Sept.11th cutbacks.
Plus where else would they go?
BA got together a big gang of experienced guys to do it.
It was in East Pen, Technical Block A, sharing a hanger with Concorde major maint, with OAD, and now OAC being modded.
The underside of the 767 was in a right state, I showed some Brunei staff over an operational Concorde a few weeks back.

The BA 767 outside South Pen at LHR is 'Whiskey Golf'.
