Swissair will end all operations on March 31. At this point SWISS will start as a new airline. SWISS is based on Crossair, which has expanded by incorporating parts of the soon to be defunct Swissair. SWISS will for example operate 26 widebodies and 26 narrowbodies previously operated by Swissair. On the other hand, SWISS is about to build an own cargo division.
Air Switzerland is the name of a new charter airline, which will start this year, if all goes as planned. There are rumours, that Air Switzerland wants to buy the brand "Swissair".
Hope this helps
