They were returned to their lessors, Kawasaki and ORIX, I believe. JI had ordered 4 320s directly from Airbus as replacements, but eventually this order was cancelled. When re-evaluating it's requirements, JI chose the 737-700(which wasnt available before) over the Airbus on price and economic factors. The pilots were rumored to dislike the busses as well. JI has ordered 15 73Gs directly from Boeing, and has already taken its first two(total 17) from a lessor(GECA?). They will enter service mid-February.
