most asian carriers like cathay, thai, malaysia and singapore airlines fly trans pacific. only a handful for transatlantic ( to east coast). the journey to east coast is shorter via the atlantic, and to the west coast over the pacific.
however, how good is it to fly over the atlantic to the west coast with a stopover in europe, or over the pacific with a stop in asia and west coast?

i think its better through the pacific, since most airlines r doing that, but are there any things about them flying trans pacific instead of atlantic, since atlantic flights are kinda viable..

regards,
