The little black thing on the seat with all the white buttons is used to change the audio channels for the headsets.

With the little black buttons next to the seat you can switch to the flight control mode and you can actually FLY the airplane (you have to swipe your credit card first through the little white slot though...)!

You can control the airplane with the small buttons and see where you're going through the little inseat video screen when you switch into 'Nintendo-mode'.
It's currently being tested on some Delta 777 to bring back "the joy of flying". If successful it will be installed on all their 777.

Pretty nice idea I think!  Big thumbs up

The owner of the credit card with the highest limit scanned first gets total control of the plane and gets to go to the destination of his choice!!!

If the aeroplane fails to react to your flight directions, you push the button above your head with the picture of the person on it and that brings out the auto-pilot. You know, the button above your head next to the landing light button.
