Unfortunately this positive news doesn't exactly over-ride the other news of the day... terrible 4th quarter earnings with a reverse stock split coming. The coffers have run dry, and NJ is turning to the Feds who might be looking the other way...

NJ has admitted they don't have enough cash to make it through 2002. We'll see what happens.

Vanguard has been up against the wall for a long time, but listen dude, they're still flying, so something good is happening. People were predicting their imminent death the day I joined this website like 3 years ago.

It is dark blue. Darker than the other blue tail I guess.

In the new Livery that brings it to:

DCA-ROC Guy:
That is the lighter blue one, the same as the one in my message above. Note the Reg # N131NJ. #131 is probably darker than the one in my post, lighter than the one in your post. The color & lighting just varies in the photos I think.

I just saw the new (dark blue) one arriving MCI today, it is almost a Navy Blue color. Very Sleek.

NJ also has a new Hunter Green -82, N141NJ, which arrived within a few days of the "eggplant" N140NJ (-82). N136NJ is a -87 and is a darker blue, not quite Navy. Rumors are the next aircraft will be ex-Reno Air -87 N755RA, and painted canary yellow, but then that's just a rumor.
