If any of you are going or passing by SFO, you might want to catch a few anomalies:

  • Northwest 727
  • SkyWest "generic" CRJ with blocked DL Connection titles swapped for a UAX CRJ on maintenance

The CRJ should be touching down at Boise soon (it is almost 1600 right now), so it'll be back at SFO within two hours or so.

That Skywest CRJ has been a regular on the United Express flights here on the west coast for a couple of weeks. I have seen it several times at SJC.

Didn't realize it had been going to SJC... cool beans.

At least through SFO, most of everyone said it was their first time seeing it here. It's going SFO-SBA-SFO-BOI-SFO...

Yes it has been showing up on the SJC-LAX flights. Also was the NWA 727 at the terminal or over at remote parking. If it was a the remotes it was probably a sports team charter.

As for the 727, I have just been told the White Sox are playing SF today so that is probably their charter.

Yep, the 727 is parked at the NW Cargo building, right by the OO commuter puddle-jumper shack.

I hope you can get some pics of the 727 either at SFO or SJC, Richard, as I am without a camera.

The NWA "Sports Team" 727's regularly show up at SJC and OAK. Here is a shot that Ben Wang took at SJC last year:
