I tried posing this question in Tech/Ops with no response...maybe someone here knows?

I'm not sure if this a tired question, but what ply rating are tires on aircraft such as B727's up to B747's?

I recall reading something like 31 or 32 ply one time on a B727-100 tire. Is that about right?

How many cycles would a tire last, typically. (Not counting aircraft piloted by Captain Kangaroo.)
