Pan Am resumes international service with the A340. Wouldn't thatt plane look amazing in the blue & white?

I have to agree with you.

The Pan Am livery designed by Airbus is one of the best ever.

It would look good on any widebody, but my favs would be A340, 744 and MD11.

Any airline's livery on an MD-11 looks sour, but the A340 concept is great!

I wish I'd get to found my own airline. I'd set my hub of operations at Huntsville, AL (a very nice airport, although new facilities would have to be built). I'd operate the following aircraft:
717-200 as the flagship
Fairchild 328 (only until enough 328JETs could be gotten to replace them).
and probably the 728JET (eventually)

All the aircraft would have tasteful blue leather seats, and fine service.(Midwest Express quality)

I agree that the Pan Am livery would look great on the MD-11, 747-400, and A340. I must admit though, while I am a huge fan of L-1011s, the ones Pan Am operated didn't look so good in their livery.

I agree that the '340 would look incredably sexy in Pan Am livery. I must argue, however that most all trijets are hard to put a livery on. Panam's livery would look terrable on an MD-11.

What would look absoultely terrific is an A340 in Continental's livery.
