According to the press release, they are expanding to Burbank as well! With the commencement of Hawaiian's ONT service, there will be non-stop service to Hawaii from LAX, SNA, BUR, and ONT! Who would have thought that would happen?

Wow, amazing...I just checked Aloha's website, out of curiousity, to see what their fares are like on OAK - HNL. The search came back with something like $460 round trip! That's unheard of. Now, if I could just get to OAK cheaply...

I'll take Hawaiian's 767-300 or UA's 777 to the west coast anyday over Aloha's 737's. It just doesn't seem right to fly in a small 737-700 across the Pacific.

I recently flew on Aloha from OAK to HNL...
To my surprise, it was simply awesome. I purchased a first class seat and was so impressed with the top quality service.
Aloha's 737-700 planes are incredibly comfy and well configured, even in coach class.

I don't care what plane I fly, as long as its cheap. And that's something Aloha should do, while taking a bit out of AC's dominance. Don't they fly 2 daily during to high times to HNL and once daily to Maui?
