Thought you'd be the right crowd of people to ask.

To find the absolute cheapest rock-bottom prices for travel between Amsterdam and LAX / SAN, where would be the place to look? So far the best I've come up with is around US$470 per ticket. I'd like to try and find something between $300-$400.

Also does anybody have any information about the possibilities of hitching a ride on a freighter?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Thanks Big grin
