AmWest Express Dash-8 In Mesa Livery

Yesterday, I noticed an America West Express Dash-8 (N444YV) with a white fusalage and a Mesa logo on the tail. Does anyone know if Mesa is taking the Dash-8 out of the America West system? This seems a little strange.
