Alitalia is ready to launch its new domestic division called LINK.

The first route who will be the Milan LIN - Rome FCO.

AZ will fly 62 daily flights between the two airports with a frequencies every 15/20 minutes in peak time and 30 minutes in the rest of the day.

The service will be improved with a new high-quality service.
They will offer bar service, croassaint, biscuits, sandwiches and ice cream.
In both the airports pax will find some special designed area and gates where relaxing before the flight or working.

They will fly a mix of MDD-82 / A321 operated by the Alitalia TEAM division.
In fact the LINK division is only a new kind of "airport and onboard service".

Is LINK going to sobstitute Alitalia in domestic italian flights???

I've also heard that AZ thinks to improve her inflight entertainment offering the Italian soccer team vest on its flights bound to Tokyo.

Pathetic.

Probably, F.Pier, at least on MXP/FCO-NRT, and JFK. Since the first will arrive in August, and other 3 before the end of the year, until 2003 I doubt about full service of 777 on any AZ route. And I agree about the Italian soccer team tshirt being given onboard as "flight entertainment"...

Airblue, I've read the same on AZ site. But where the hell did you get the delivery date of the A319?!
