UFS was the last operator in the US.

It is not used in north america anymore--it's too slow.

In the Azores Islands, North Atlantic Ocean, SATA (local carrier) uses 4 BAe ATP planes, 10 year old planes.

BAe ATP in the first years of operation had a lot of engine problems, almost 20 engines had to be replaced in the 3 ATPs used by SATA, lots of in flight engine shutdowns, right now there are no problems, but I think that there are better regional planes than the ATP, maybe the ATR, DASH8, SAAB 2000, etc.

One ATP (CS-TGM) crashed in aproach (tried to land with very low visibility and no ILS) to the airport that I work 2 years ago, unfortunately, no survivers (35 onboard).
