Not official yet, but word is JFK-EZE will be cut by UA, leaving just MIA-EZE. As a result, however, the EZE-MVD leg will become a 777. Last flight is 07Jun02.

Argentina is still going through a rough situation so it's no surprise this flight might be suspended for some time .
By the way with the current situation in Venezuela do you know if the loads on flights to CCS from MIA have gone down?

Yes, this is actually official. However, JFK-EZE is scheduled to resume Oct 1 (or the 10th, can't remember). I guess this now makes this route "seasonal."
Sadly, our only international routes out of JFK is now only NRT and LHR. (I don't consider the weekend SJU run "international").

United is also having issues w/ the Port Authority, JetBlue, and BA over gate useage and availability. To relieve some of the pressure, UA signed a lease on 3 gates at the old TW domestic terminal, and they were used for the San Fran and LAX transcons... even opened up a Red Carpet Club and 1st Class lounge... but in the end, JetBlue wanted the gates more than United did, and when the leases came up, JetBlue had more power and control to pick them up. You'll occasionally see a UA 767 parked there, but that's all it's doing....
You'll see a few of these routes come back in the future once people start paying more for airline tickets.
