I have it on authority that Virgin's last 747 classic, G-VPUF, will be withdrawn and parked at Mojave at the end of April. Final scheduled service is VS301/27Apr DEL-LHR.

Is it confirmed that a 747 classic leased from Air Atlanta will be doing the MAN-MCO route. I've heard numerous people say its very likely but no confirmation. If so we'll be able to see a classic in Virgin colours for a while yet.

I'll be on it on 3rd May, I was just hoping it was something different, I hate the 747 classics!

Sad. I will miss seeing it in EWR.
BTW Ewrffvs - do you work for Virgin Cargo in EWR?

Sorry to say Dan it looks like you will be on a classic. VS is chartering one from Air Atlanta for the 075/76 until 10Nov. Most likely will be an ex Virgin bird as Air Atlanta is taking possession of 4 of them.
