Heard that Varig will be receiving 2 BA 777 and will use them on Brasil-NY route. Anyone can confirm that?

Thank you.

I had heard BA would dispose of two A-market 777-200. Are you sure these 777s would have enough payload/range capacity for Varig's need?!

I had heard that BA was selling the 3 oldest 777's (the non-er versions) their reg numbers are G-ZZZA G-ZZZB and G-ZZZC. Perhaps Varig is purchasing 2 of these planes. Although I had also heard of a rumor that PIA was purchasing these planes.

I like British Airways! I'm not sure why, but I do! ;-)

Hi, I think that PIA Pakistan International will buy these planes for replacing the older Boeing 747-200.

Last week it was reported that PIA have decided against the 777 and may acquire ex-SQ A343s from Boeing.

It is correct that two of the older BA 777s remain unallocated. The third one is supposedly going to replace the RAF VIP VC10s and has been nicknamed Blair Force One.
