Since I guess LAX is not an official AA "hub", I was wondering, is LAX an official AA "focus city"? AA is finishing the upgrades on Terminal 4, has most of T3 (minus Alaska & Frontier), and has currently 169 daily mainline and Eagle flights. This doesn't include all of its OneWorld partners, most of which have major operations at LAX (Cathay, Qantas, BA, and LanChile to name a few).

So does AA give LAX an official status?

It has it's LAX terminal diagram in American Way Magazine. I have always considered LAX a mini-hub for AA, so in my mind, I think LAX is probably a hub. I bet you Don Carty& Crew could tell you otherwise though.
