I heard that HAL was starting the ONT flights with the DC10 and switching to 767's later this year. The SMF flights are starting out with 767's from the start.

DC-10's at ONT? Awesome!  Smile

(ONT used to be my "home" airport, and I love DC-10's)

Yes, we're using the DC-10 to start. The 767 will come later as we get more in the fleet.

The fun thing about this is -

We are going to get around 20 (Or more!) cans of cargo a night. that means we have to have the room to put all the dollies, plus all the room to put all the thing that will be put INTO the cans...

The DC-10 is actually more comfortable in economy that the 763. I flew both recently and the 763's seats were awful!

Be happy you'll be on a DC-10. They won't be around much longer. You'll have more time to fly the 767 at a later date. Take pics of the interior as a souvenier.

Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Thanks everyone. I am planning on taking these flights 7/16 and 7/23. Hopefully, I won't get the mddle seat. BTW do you guys think there are any chances that these flights might not be full therefore increasing my chances to get some two, three, or four seats by myself?
