Wow, SUH making a comeback!

I think you're too happy to spell 'Return' correctly!

Will this indicates NZ's current 3x SYD-LAX will go back to daily?

Does 'the future plan' includes reverting SYD-LAX to daily from current 3x?

Kiwis should heat up the competition (with uncle Sam's help) with the kangaroos.

HKGspotter, whilst Alakanuk, Alaska - Hong Kong - London might be an interesting route, I doubt it would be commercially viable for Air NZ :P

Great News!!! When is this happening? I guess when Air NZ can afford to buy some paint for it???

I don't no about SYD-LAX but maybe HKG-LHR or just to increase other current routes for now.

Was SUH the plane that had the funny koru on it? I flew on a 744 last year which had a koru missing a chunk from the two horizontal lines and I'd seen it a lot before and after then. Sounds stupid, but it really peeved me off.

The Koru is a sticker so it comes off quite easily! Could have been any 744 in the fleet.

Cheers,

Justin

Skystar

That was due to the CEO saying that he hoped the government would sell off it's shares in the airline.

Those Koru's are replaced quite often.
I no SUH is currently without a Koru! Currently she has no markings just a blue tail and winglets and rego!

I found it interesting that 5 out of the 7 744 were on the ground at AKL yesterday (4 on the ground at any one time)....3 in/outside the hangers(incl. SUH)....how could they operate all the 744 flights if most of them are here?? Shouldn't they be somewhere??

I was there last Thursday and there were 5 of 8 744's on the ground! NBT took off to LAX as NZ6! SUH, NBW plus another were at the jet base and another at the terminal!

I guess so.

Through the winter the 744's are usually on the ground for longer but not usually more than 3 at once.

Will they install Spacebeds, PTVs in Coach Class, new Business Class seats etc in their B 747-400s?
