John Travolta bought a 747 from Qantas today.

Thought this would be nice news, just a little gossip

Yeah, he is buying one of Qantas' old SP's. It was in a previous post, so search for it.

SixStarAnsett,

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he buys SNA so he has a place to store his planes.  Big thumbs up

He was contemplating a QF SP however the sale fell through and both aircraft are now being broken up in Arizona. He was in Sydney two weeks ago and visited the QANTAS Jet Base to look over a 238B that QF are getting rid of, presumably the purchase would be of one of them not a SP.

Wouldn't it be cool if he plastered his face on the tail? Not how he currently looks, but a Vinnie Barbarino one, complete with the 70s feathered hairdo?  Big grin

That is a scary thought. I vote for Mrs. Kotter on the, um, tail.

Quit calling an airport ramp "Tarmac" and a taxiway "runway".
