Travel-lodge has no view of the airport at all. The Holiday Inn London Heathrow (there are 3 of them at LHR) has a VERY limited view of the northern side of the airport and probably only a few rooms where you could see anything. Best is Renaissance for views - it's right next to the 27R touchdown zone and has great views of the northern side of the airport, so might be worth paying a bit extra for if your that interested.
