In less than a month the first flight of a Lufthansa 747-200 will depart FRA for YVR. Since Lufthansa Technik will update the two planes so they are up to date. But that will take some time... So have they been flown back to Germany already?
Will they be "updated" in FRA or in HAM?
If I wouldn't be in Italy at that time I would for sure be in FRA on June 1st to see a little of "real" Aviation return to the skies.

Hey Godbless! How's it going?
It's great to see the LH B742's back in action as some of them are relatively young (manufactured in '88). It's even better that they'll be flying it to YVR, obviously they need a bigger aircraft than the A340 for YVR!

Konstantin,
Thank you for the information! Have you taken pictures of them already?
Marco,
Hey, I'm fine. Havn't seen you online for a while...
The two planes that will be put into service again are YX and ZE with the first being built in 1982 and the latter in 1987. The only 1988 747-200 is D-ABZI from LCAG.
