Champion Air running MD11's? Huh? I know they are a 727 operator, but MD11?

Last time I checked, Champion Air doesn't have any MD-11s.

But, you can add Champion Air to the 727 list.

The MD-11 is still a very new airplane.

Shouldn't you be asking who still flies 707's and 720's?

Despite the decline in use of the trijet, many operators still use the MD-11 and a few still operate the 727 also. They're both great aircraft!

Everyone has forgotten the first airline to enter the MD-11 into (passenger service), Finnair. They still use them and will for a couple of more years, since they were delivered in '91, '92, '94, '96, and such planes are still new, and have a lot of flying hours to go in their life...

Sabena Airlines also operated the MD-11 before they collapsed. Does anyone know where MD-11s went?

727 charter operators include:

Allegro, Miami Air, Trans Meridian, and Falcon Air.

I'm sure there are more......

AA doesn't still fly the -11, does it?
