OZ is flying to LHR by the end of the month with 747-400 3x weekly. they are also introducing flights from incheon to Phuket. Frequencies are also increased to LA from 10 to 12 times weekly. other destination specially to Japan have increased in frequencies.

Does any body know how long or how they got access to LHR. I thought only KE was allowed to heathrow or something like that?

OZ is Asiana Airlines. I'm not sure whether they flew to LHR before or not (I think they did).

Korean Government recently received 3 additional slots from London Heathrow, and decided to give all 3 of them to Asiana.

And there was me thinking this would be a thread about which airline to fly from Australia to the UK, and getting ready to suggest any post by Singapore_Air extolling the virtues of SQ for deletion.  Smile
