I heard a rumor that QANTAS might be starting DFW-AKL-SYD when they get their 744ER, is this true? Im assuming it will be a code share flight with AA. Other than that, do you think we will see any new flights or airlines here at DFW? I wonder if international traffic will pick up once the International Terminal is completed.

I am 90% sure the Qantas rumor is true, but I cannot make any promises though.
Most of the flights that I know of have been added by American. Some notable additions are:
1 new daily to YUL(total-2)
1 new 5x weekly to NRT(total-2 for 5days out of 7)
1 new 3-5x weekly to LGW(total back up to 2 for some days. I am not sure what the frequency is though, I do know that there will be another LGW AA flight).
I have also heard that National and possibly even Frontier are adding additional services from DFW to LAS and DEN respectively. However, I cannot confirm this.
The airport's website seems to be a little out of date when it comes to news, but for more information, go to http://www.dfwairport.com.
Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

What do you think Delta's plans are at DFW? It seems like they are becoming less and less of a force. I would like to see some international Delta flights out of DFW, and have some bigger aircraft in and out. I also halfway expect Swiss Airlines to start up DFW runs, since they do (at least I think they still do) codeshare with AA. AA currently has a 767-300 on the DFW-ZRH run, and used to have a 777 on it last winter.
BTW, does Japan Airlines still fly into DFW? What aircraft? MD-11?
