ALG-CDG:no More On Khalifa Airways!

I just read in an airport magazine the A340 ALG-CDG service on Khalifa had lasted...... one day!!!!!

from day 2, the hated publicly-owned AH (Air Algérie) has lobbied at Algiers to make the flights cease immediately....mind you! it could too severely hurt them on their most lucrative route!
the already sold tickets will be valid on AH (well thank you!) and AH will charter the Khalifa A340 this summer instead of leasing Air Atlanta 747

hey,that's how some countries see fair competition!
