Altthough VG has finally received all the documents it needs for its operations, it does seem to have a problem in operating its first revenue flight. The flight (a charter for Air Holland to Antalya) was scheduled to leave AMS at 0610 and at time of writing this thread (1000) the plane didn't leave AMS and had just commenced boarding according to the AMS site (thus soon the first VG revenue flight will be in the air, I hope). I hope that VG improves its punctuality as a three hour delay is not a good start (provided that the delay was VG's fault)
BTW VG will also make the second revenue flight today (again a charter for Air Holland, but this time to Dalaman)

According to 'Het Nieuwsblad', VG's first flight to New York will be on may, 23th. One week later Van Gaever will personally fly on the first flight to Boston. A date for the first flight to Los Angeles is not given.

Just to complete the thread. VG's first revenue flight left with a 5 hour delay and its second revenue flight left AMS with a six hour delay. However, VG may try it a next time tomorrow when its third revenue flight (again a charter for HLN) is planned to Bodrum. The flight leaves AMS at 0610 and is already delayed untill 0730. However I hope it won't be difficult to beat the 5 hours as I plan to go to AMS tomorrow to see this beautiful plane in action when it arrives back from Bodrum (estimated at 1410 however if the delay doesn't widens it will be at AMS around 1530).
