The from Britannia leased Air holland B752, G-BYAR, took off from Maastricht Aachen Airport. The plane stood parked for more than a month on the NNE side of the field. According rumors, which my brother in law heard from spotters overthere, the plane has been returned to Britannia. Has somebody updated news? Are there pictures of the take-off?

The good old PH-AHE is doing the HLN flights now in the old HLN livery thus HLN is alive.

The G-BYAR left maastricht for Manchester

What Lj says could well be true.

I didn't get a clear view of it as it was nose-on to us, but I believe 'AR is parked up at MAN next to the MON DC10 and someone's spare A332  Wink/being sarcastic

Air Holland is in a strange situation. The B757 was indeed parked at Maastricht and went to Manchester a couple of days ago and is now parked there.
In the meanwhile, a lot of other airlines are flying for Air Holland at weekends. Air2000, Sabre are just a few. Highlight this weekend was the Airbus A330 of VG Airlines, which operated three flights for Air Holland.

Rumours say there are some problems with the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority to get aircraft registered. Air Holland is also supposed to lease a former Air France B767. This aircraft is now at CDG waiting for things to happen.
