Delta 767-400 Emergency Landing

happened on sat may 18th----atl-slc-hnl--diverted to memphis when number 2 engine had a fire warning..engine was shut down and landed safely..but it was 6 hours of waiting in that dump of an airport memphis until delta could send in another 767.....

whoa!!! That is so closer as for what happened with the B767-400ER and what is ship #??? That is into Memphis, TN as for exchange by the aircraft to SLC flight. They are turn it out was everything fine on the passengers. So do you think will have to continued from MEM-SLC-HNL flight on B767-400ER? Thanks!!

I wondered what a DL764 was doing at the NW cargo ramp!! I think as we were taxiing in, I saw the replacement a/c touchdown on rwy 27. Good to hear everything turned out ok. Gee Favre, MEM may not be DTW or MSP, but it isn't THAT bad!!

Hmm, something similar happened in BRU the very same day the 767-300 from Egypt Air chrashed. One engine caught fire shortly after take off.

Oh Thanks, Jermey!!! That you were give me it out as for the ship # on the delta computer. That is reg. number N833MH (1809). That is Delta aircraft. I have on the list from my computer on the aircraft. This is from the information on the airlines. Thanks, Jeremy!!
