What all of you think about old Pan Am new livery, how it would look now?
The new Pan Am has the same livery because they wanna look like old Pan Am, but if the Pan Am was still in service, do you think they would change their livery????
Pan Am logo was the second most recognaizable LOGO in the world just behind Coca-Cola.

I think they'd be wise to have the same livery, it's simple and beautiful even in that simplicity. I suppose, however, that some corporate *ss would have, sooner or later, changed the livery to something newer and flashier. As for me, I prefer the good ol' Pan Am the way it was (and, apparently, is).

I don't think Pan Am would have changed their scheme, unless they made a major acquisition. Pan Am was a company that really went out of its way to give each aircraft in its fleet a distinctive image, with all the "Clipper" names and everything. Therefore, I could see them doing a lot of one-off "theme plane" schemes if they were around today. No way would they tamper with that globe, though.

I have to agree with 747-600X. Pan Am pretty much used the same basic livery from its get-go to the mid 80's when they changed to the "billboard" scheme. I think they would still have that livery.

I think that the Pan Am billboard livery is still modern and fashionable for today. It looks elegant.
