...and I know Royal Air Freight out of Ohio still operates Hansa's, I believe.

Are there any other examples of forward swept wing designed aircraft?

yes, the C-37 "Bepkyt" in russian, or Golden Eagle-in english, it is an "experimental jet fighter with swept forward wings"
