Trust me, it is a 757........... I took the flight tuesday morning. Look it up in the schedules for yourself. Like I said, 757's have entertainment systems, just like the DC-10's. Just because she said movie doesn;t mean a movie is shown, NW ONLY shows short sitcomes on their domestic flights, and 757's are able to do that. The DC-10 into PHX is seasonal, and they run on the late morning and afternoon flights.... There are no longer any DC-10 flights into PHX, like I said they are seasonal, so you are on a 757/ The 7AM departure is a overnighting aircraft, first to depart to MSP.....

Actually, NW only shows movies on Hawaii and international flights. Unfortunately, you won't get any inflight entertainment on your PHX-MSP flight. IFE was discontinued post 9/11 as a cost savings measure. However, the 757 fleet is getting retrofitted LCD fold down screens to match those of the new 757-300s arriving in the summer and to match the latest 757-200 deliveries. It is rumored then that IFE will return to the red tails domestically.
