When did YX start MSY service? And isn't this also the last new city for the airline?
Thanks
cre.

Midwest Express began MSY service on April 23, 2001.

As for your second question, I'm not sure, but I believe they haven't added anything new since then. I could be wrong, though.

Thanks Tom,

I think you are right on the second question - I though MSY was the last new city it has entered. Of course it has tinkered with service to existing cities.

If history repeats itself, YX should be announcing something new soon? We'll see.

At one time they had two flights during the week from MCI-MSY before 9/11. After 9/11 they only have one flight from MCI-MSY on most days. Sometimes two flights a day on certain days of the week. I hope someday they will have two flights a day.

Also, like to see them fly from MKE-MSY someday but might not happen for awhile because we don't have enough aircraft to fly that route.

Have not heard anything of any new cities either but will keep you inform.

thanks Midex,
Is there any chance, either previously or now, that MSY could be dropped due to poor loads?

I hope they don't drop MSY. I don't now what the load factors is on the MCI-MSY-MCI but I would think it has to be pretty good because they haven't dropped that route yet.
