Just was watching the news.......
A drunken man caused a Cancun-Rome charter flight to have to land at BOS under fighter jet escort. The man, injured a passenger and harassed others and was bound hand and feet and then arrested by officers at the gate. The plane, which appeared to be a A330 or maybe a 767, took off a few hours later. Kind of intersting.

Oh, ok. I thought it might be a A330, but knew it was to small for a 767. I never saw the wings, just the nose, so I couldn't really tell with such a short glimpse. Thanks for the info.

Usually Bangor ends up with these kinds of diversions....just out of curiosity, is it now standard procedure for all airliners whose crew have declared an emergency due to unruly pax, to have a fighter escort?

I saw it with the news on CBS 4 News at MIA by the evening at 5:00p.m. and that was what happened with the spanish guy did got harrassed with one of the passengers and flight crew too. And he got face charges and he could get penalty into 20 years of the prison time. And that was the news were said on the t.v. And he was too crazy on the airplane and he keep bothering with the passengers on the plane by B777 aircraft. And I knew that about with his behaviours on the aircraft. And they did got remove from the aircraft and into the state police car with his handcuffing and hobbles with the his legs too. He was not very good person. And he will spent more of the life without of possibly parole or might be take long time. Well, goodnight!!
