The POSSIBLE aircraft delivery delay is old news. For some strange reason this article surfaced today with direct quoting and reference to the employee newspaper. This info was discussed in the previous earnings webcast and possibly even last year when the decision to proceed with the 2002 deliveries was made. I wouldn't worry about it, it's just NW being cautious. They won't do it if they don't HAVE to and will do it if it will create better economics for the airline.
The new MEM flying is a long time coming and will be great fo us down here!
