American Airlines will begin to restore meal service next month on many flights to and from the west coast from its DFW and ORD hubs. Some additional flights from the north east to DFW will also see the meals again. This is in response to United's announcement that they will begin to put the meals back on the airplanes as well.

It is actually internal, but the update is in SABRE on availability in markets such as SJCDFW SJCORD LAXORD DFWEWR DFWLGA DFWBOS DFWSEA just to name a few. I dont know if they will come out with a formal press release or not. I spoke to one of the managers here today and he said that the company wants to keep it "low key" for now. I guess because incase UAL changes their mind so will we. But it is now in SABRE.
